Trucking companies send an investigator to the scene within hours. Their insurer has counsel before you leave the hospital. You should have someone too.
Most injury firms hand you an intake number and a case manager. You may never speak to the lawyer whose name convinced you to call.
That is not how this works. My clients have my mobile number. They use it. If I am in court or on a deposition, I call back the same day.
I-95 and I-16 carry freight through Chatham County around the clock. Big-rig crashes involve federal safety regulations, electronic logging data, and carriers who move fast to control the evidence.
Truck cases →Delivery vans, box trucks, work trucks, port drayage, rideshare. Commercial policies carry higher limits than personal auto, and identifying every responsible party matters.
Commercial cases →Rear-end collisions, intersection crashes, hit and run, uninsured and underinsured motorist claims. Most people accept far less than their claim is worth because nobody told them otherwise.
Car accident cases →The volume firms advertising in this market will assign your file to a case manager you have never met. You may not speak to an attorney until the case is nearly over, if at all.
That is not how this works here. Thomas Rinaldi handles the cases personally, from the first call through resolution.
Rinaldi Law, LLC handles personal injury matters arising in Georgia, with a focus on the coastal counties and the I-95 and I-16 corridors.

What you do in the days after a wreck shapes what your claim is worth months later. A short list, and none of it requires hiring anybody.
Nothing up front. These cases are handled on a contingency fee, meaning the fee is a percentage of what is recovered. If there is no recovery, you owe no attorney fee. Case expenses are advanced by the firm. Your written fee agreement will set out the exact terms before you sign anything.
Georgia sets deadlines for filing suit, and they vary depending on the type of claim and who the defendant is. Claims involving a city, county, or state entity carry much shorter notice requirements than claims against a private driver. Missing a deadline generally ends the case permanently, so it is worth confirming your specific deadline early rather than assuming.
Not before you know what your medical treatment will actually involve. Early offers are made precisely because the insurer does not yet know the full cost either, and settling closes the claim for good. A review costs you nothing.
Georgia allows an injured person to recover even when partly at fault, so long as their share of the fault stays below a statutory threshold, with the recovery reduced in proportion to their share. Fault is also frequently disputed and frequently misassigned at the scene. Being told you were at fault is not the same as being at fault.
Often yes. Your own uninsured and underinsured motorist coverage may apply, and in commercial crashes there may be additional policies covering the employer, the vehicle owner, or the broker. Identifying every available policy is a significant part of the work.
Most injury cases resolve without trial. That said, the value of a case is heavily influenced by whether the other side believes you are prepared to try it, which is why cases are worked from the beginning as though they will be tried.
Each county runs on its own courts, its own calendar and its own roads. These pages cover what that actually means for a case filed there.
Commercial vehicle work is the centre of this practice, but it is not the whole of it. If you were hurt because someone else was careless, the call is worth making regardless of how it happened.
If a matter is outside what I handle, I will tell you that on the first call and point you toward someone who does handle it. That costs you nothing and it beats guessing.
